The Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valtchev and Minister of Education and Higher Education of Qatar\u00a0\u00a0Mohammed Abdul Wahid Al- Hammadi signed agreement for cooperation in the field of Education, Scientific research and Technologies between Bulgaria and Qatar. In the government\u00a0 delegation, led by minister Valtchev in Doha were the rectors of Sofia University \u201cSt. Kliment Ohridsky\u201dproff. Atanas Gerdzikov, Medical University-Sofia\u201d – prof. dr. Victor Zlatkov, \u201cTechnical University\u201d \u2013 prof. eng. Ivan Kralov and \u201cNational Sports Academy\u201d- prof. Nikolay Izov.<\/p>\n
The visit was initiated by Qatar and envisage cooperation in the sphere of school and higher education, scientific research and technologies. The both sides will share experience in school management, education and methods of teaching, study programs and evaluation of achievements of students and teachers. Will be stimulated and cooperation between schools of both countries. Along these lines is possible intensifying cooperation, through bilateral agreements, between our and Qatari universities.<\/p>\n
The signed document arrange possibilities for cooperation in the field of masters and doctoral programs and scientific research. Information will be exchanged concerning normative order, regulating academic recognition of education, acquired abroad and questions concerning evaluation of qualities and accreditation of universities. Bulgarian delegation had talks with the Rector of University of Qatar, with Deputy Rector of Hamad Bin Khalifa University, located in the City of Science, \u00a0and deans of the faculties of Public Health and Engineering science. In the City of Science are located the campuses of eight international universities along with school and scientific center of Qatar Foundation. In the program were included also visits to The Sports Academy \u201cAspire \u201d and Qatari National Library.<\/p>\n
