Pursuant to Art. 28, para 1 of the Higher Education Act, in connection with Art. 36, para 2, item 1 of the Regulations for the structure and activity of the Medical University – Sofia and a written proposal by the Academic Council of MU – Sofia via the Rector of MU – Sofia, today 01.06.2020, 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I HEREBY SCHEDULE AND CALL <\/strong>
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The General Assembly of the Medical University – Sofia on 28.07.2020 (Tuesday) starting at 13.00 pm, under the following agenda:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Presentation of the awards on the occasion <\/em>of the University Holiday dedicated to the “International Health Day” and the achievements in research and teaching activity at MU – Sofia.<\/em><\/li>
  2. Report of the Rector’s Management of MU-Sofia for the activity in 2019 and mandate 2016-2020.<\/em><\/li>
  3. Report of the Control Council (CC) of MU-Sofia for the expired term 2016-2020.<\/em><\/li>
  4. Proposals for changes in the Regulations for the structure and activity of MU-Sofia in accordance with the amendments and supplements to the Higher Education Act of 25.02.2020<\/em><\/li>
  5. Election of Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the General Assembly for a 4-year term of service for the period 2020-2024.<\/em><\/li>
  6. Election of the Supervisory Board of MU-Sofia, including Chairman, Deputy Chairman and members of the Supervisory Board, all with a 4-year term of service for the period 2020-2024.<\/em><\/li>
  7. Election of Rector of MU-Sofia with a 4-year term of service for the period 2020-2024.<\/em><\/li>
  8. Election of members of the Academic Council of MU-Sofia with a 4-year term of service for the period 2020-2024.<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The registration of members of the General Assembly starts at 12.15 pm in the lobby of the hall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Candidates for election of Rector, for members of the Academic Council and Chairman, Deputy Chairman and members of the Supervisory Board of the Medical University – Sofia are to comply with the provisions of Art. 79, para. 2, Art. 80, para. 2 and Art. 81, para 2 of the Regulations for the structure and activity of the Medical University-Sofia (amended and supplemented as of June 25, 2019)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    During the General Assembly of the Medical University – Sofia on 28.07.2020, the presence of its members is an obligation of the highest priority for the delegates and is before all other official commitments, according to Article 36, paragraph 5 of the Rules of Procedure and the activity of the Medical University – Sofia.
