On June 18, experts from the International Department of MU-Sofia took an active part in the Webinar “2020 XJTU – CEEC Higher Education Institutions: International cooperation & Exchanges”, organized by the Chinese leading Xi’an Jiaotong University. The event was held through Join Zoom Meeting in the context of the growing importance of modern digital platforms and online opportunities for learning and sharing good practices in the field of higher education. Xian Jiatong University in city Xi’an, Province Shaanxi, China, hosted a virtual event attended by 8 universities from Central and Eastern Europe (University of the Aegean Greece, Politehnica University of Bucharest, Prof. Assen Zlatarov\u201d University in Burgas, The West University of Timi\u0219oara Romania, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, The Brno University of Technology Czech Republic,\u00a0 Burgas Free University, The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and 3 European institutes (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences Bulgaria, Center for Energy research in Hungary and the Belt and Road Institute at the University of Novi Sad Serbia). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
MU-Sofia welcomed the new working contacts that were established as a result of the Webinar and strongly supported the idea of the organizers for future virtual workshops and joint training initiatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
