{"id":51091,"date":"2025-04-24T11:55:41","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T08:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mu-sofia.bg\/?p=51091"},"modified":"2025-04-24T11:55:42","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T08:55:42","slug":"visit-to-mu-sofia-of-representatives-of-hanoi-medical-university-vietnam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mu-sofia.bg\/en\/visit-to-mu-sofia-of-representatives-of-hanoi-medical-university-vietnam\/","title":{"rendered":"Visit to MU-Sofia of representatives of Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In connection with the implementation of project Contract No.: 2024-1-BG01-KA171-<br>HED-000209886 from the Erasmus + Program, KD 171 between the Center for Human<br>Resources Development and Medical University &#8211; Sofia, representatives of the Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam, visited Bulgaria for the purpose of teaching and training.<br>Dr. Van Do delivered a lecture course to representatives of the Laboratory of Clinical<br>Immunology of the University Hospital &#8220;St. Ivan Rilski&#8221;; Sofia, led by Prof. Dobroslav<br>Kyurkchiev.<br>Of particular interest was the lecture presented on the relationship between the Epstein<br>-Barr virus (EBV) and malignant diseases.<br>Dr. Nguyen Van Do graduated from Hanoi Medical University and defended his thesis<br>at the Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology at Karolinska University,<br>Stockholm, Sweden. He then worked for several years at the Laboratory of Clinical<br>Hematology, Department of Immunology, Institute of Medical Research in Brisbane ,<br>Australia. He is currently the Head of the Department of Pathophysiology and Immunology at Hanoi Medical University, as well as the Group Leader of the Cancer Research Program at<br>Dinh Thien. Hoang Medical Institute.<br>Two representatives of the administrative staff from Medical University &#8211; Hanoi: Ms.<br>Ngoc Anh Li Thi (IT and Communication Manager) and Ms. Huyen Ngan Buoy You<br>(Deputy Head of Organization and Human Resources) also visited our university.<br>During their five-day training, in accordance with the rules of the Erasmus + program,<br>the two representatives visited the Rectorate of the Medical University &#8211; Sofia, as well as<br>various units within the university&#8217;s structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/mu-sofia.bg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000001405.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51087\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mu-sofia.bg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000001405.jpg 900w, https:\/\/mu-sofia.bg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000001405-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mu-sofia.bg\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1000001405-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Working meetings were held with Prof. Dr. Ventsislava Pencheva-Genova, MD ,<br>Vice-Rector for International Integration and Project Financing and Prof. Antonia Yanakieva,<br>MD , Head of the MIPF Department, as well as with representatives of the international<br>office.<br>Ms. Ngoc An Li Thi and Ms. Huyen Ngan Buoy You were introduced to the processes<br>in the MIPF department, the project activities and the implementation of the Erasmus +<br>Program.<br>Good practices in the implementation of activities between the two universities were<br>shared.
