The maximum possible rating of 4.00 was given to the report of the Rector of Medical University of Sofia for the second year of his mandate (July 2025 – June 2026). The report is evaluated by the Minister of Education and Science regarding the implementation of the University Development Policy. For a second consecutive year, this assessment clearly proves that the work of the academic leadership of Medical University-Sofia is at the highest level and covers all indicators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The assessment is based on a total of 59 specific indicators, grouped around 6 main goals, which the university management is committed to fulfill in the implementation of its management program. The goals are respectively:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Relevance, compliance, integrity of the acquired knowledge and skills;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Improving the quality of training programs through the use of educational forms, methods and technologies, tailored to the characteristics of the currently educated generation of students;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Connectivity and partnership;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Development of scientific activity;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
5. Attracting and retaining young lecturers;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6. Public commitments of national importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The excellent assessment of the management by the Minister once again confirms the leadership position of MU-Sofia in our medical education. It reflects not only the trust of the institutions, but also the real progress of the university in terms of organizational and educational processes, in scientific innovations and in the international positioning of the higher education institution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
