Students and lecturers at MU-Sofia have the opportunity to benefit from additional financial support within the framework of the „Erasmus+“ program when they choose environmentally friendly means of travel (“green transport”) to the host country.
Green transport is travel primarily by:
- train,
- bus,
- carpooling.
For participants who travel sustainably, additional financial incentives are provided, which are paid in addition to the basic individual support under the program.
This opportunity aims to promote the reduction of the carbon footprint of mobility and contribute to achieving the Erasmus+ objectives in the field of environmental protection.
How to apply:
When preparing your mobility you need to:
Declare your choice of green transport when signing the mobility documents;
Present the relevant travel documents (tickets, invoices, etc.) as proof after the trip is completed;
Familiarize yourself in detail with the International Department’s guidelines on eligible costs and procedures.
