n the period March 5th -11th, 2025 representatives of the Management of Medical University-Sofia and the Faculty of public health “Prof. Tzecomir Vodenitcharov, MD,DSc” visited the Tbilisi State Medical University, Georgia. Fruitful meetings were held with the Rector as well as with the Management of the local Faculty of Public Health regarding the continuation and expansion of cooperation between the two universities.
Representatives of Medical University-Sofia also took part in the organized XI Winter School of Public Health. Prof. Angelika Velkova, MD, DSc had a lecture on the topic “Health disparities based on some examples from Bulgaria”.
Students from the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of public health “Prof. Tzecomir Vodenitcharov, MD, DSc” participated.
