Three students from the Faculty of Medicine of Hiroshima University, Japan successfully completed a 3-month mobility for traineeship at the Medical University – Sofia. Their stay was in the period April – June 2025 as a part of the implementation of contract No.: 2024-1-BG01-KA171-HED-000209886 from the Erasmus + Programme, KA 171.
The students Moe Miyamoto, Shinosuke Shimizu, and Atsushi Nakajima conducted traineeship in various units and clinical bases of the Medical University – Sofia, each of them performing a one-month rotation in specialties such as pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and surgery. For all three students, this was the first opportunity to take advantage of the Erasmus program and gain valuable experience in the rich clinical base of the Medical University – Sofia, as well as to experience the culture of a completely unknown part of Europe.
