The prestigious British ranking Top Universities awarded the honorary 151st place to the Medical University – Sofia for 2021 in the edition QS EECA University Rankings. In 10 indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, international research network and impact on the network, MU-Sofia is among the most established and preferred higher education institutions in the region.
A total of 7 Bulgarian universities took part in the ranking, and MU-Sofia is among the leaders. In two particularly important areas, the university is the undisputed champion and these are the indicators “Faculty Student”: 100 points and “International Students”: 100 points. MU-Sofia holds the first positions on the two indicators, which measure the share of teachers and students with international orientation.
This provides an indication of the diversity of the institution’s community and learning environment, as well as reflecting success in attracting academics and students across national borders.
