Erasmus+ incoming students visited the Old Town of Plovdiv thanks to MU-Sofia

MU-Sofia organized the event “Welcome Erasmus+ Integration Trip” in the period 21-22.08.2024 for incoming students who are currently studying at the university under the Erasmus+ program. They are from partner universities in Latvia, Georgia and Turkey.

The group of 30 students and representatives of MU-Sofia visited the Old Town of Plovdiv and was accomodated in an authentic old house in the Architectural and Historical Reserve ‘Ancient Plovdiv’, in order to get familiar with Bulgarian architecture, culture and traditions. The first stop at the agenda was linked professionally to the education at the MU-Sofia – the  Museum Pharmacy  ‘Hippocrates’ which caused great interest among the participants in the tour.

During the second day of the Erasmus+ program, the students took part actively in a workshop on “Emotional Intelligence: How We Perceive and Express Emotions”, led by Petya Goranova, a student at the Faculty of Pharmacy. She is one of the so called ‘buddies’ – active Bulgarian students from MU-Sofia who take care of the integration of incoming Erasmus+ students.
