Representatives of the management and experts from MU-Sofia participated in the annual community meeting of the ALL4LIFE_BRIDGE project, which was held in Bratislava, Slovakia, 8-10 March 2026. The host was the Slovak partner in the Alliance – the Slovak Academy of Sciences and its Biomedical Research Center (BMC SAS, Institute of Virology).
The meeting of the Alliance community was hosted by Ms. Silvia Pastorekova, assisted by the President of Alliance4Life, Prof. Toivo Maimetz from the University of Tartu, Estonia. The program included a presentation of the new coordinator of the A4L_BRIDGE project under the Horizon Europe program – Ms. Nikola Kostlanova, positioned in Brno, Czech Republic.
In addition to organized reports and planning of new activities under work packages, extended sessions were also held for key activities and new project proposals under the WIDERA initiatives. The opportunities for the Alliance4Life Alliance itself were discussed, especially in the context of the actively developing Virtual Research Center (VRC) and the e-Learning Platform.
Other organizations such as the research funding companies EMBL and EU LIFE also participated in the meeting.
