Dear colleagues,
Traditionally, on April 7th – World Health Day, the academic community of Medical University – Sofia celebrates its patronal holiday to note the scientific success in research and teaching. In the current global crisis, the world and each one of us are individually confronted with challenges of a new dimension.
Today is not a day for celebration, but a moment to reconcile once again the profession we have chosen. Ignoring yourself to serve others is not an easy choice! The call to save lives is not just a profession, it is a mission that is gaining a completely new ground in this pandemic situation.
