At the beginning of the new academic year 2019/2020, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the State Medical University – Georgia and the Medical University – Sofia, represented by Prof. Dr. Victor Zlatkov, MD, Rector of Medical University – Sofia, respectively Prof. Dr. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of the University of Tbilisi. The purpose of the agreement is to develop co-operation in the fields of medical science and education, conducting joint educational events, exchanging students, scholars and teachers, facilitating joint initiatives between the two institutions.
