INGENIUM NurseEdu Connect – Staff Week/Blended Intensive Program

The Faculty of Public Health “Prof. Tzecomir Vodenitcharov, MD, DSc”, Medical University – Sofia is pleased to announce the launch of a Staff week/Blended Intensive Program (BIP) dedicated to bring together nursing educators from INGENIUM partners for one week of collaborative work, exchange, and reflection. Participants will compare nursing curricula, teaching methodologies, and clinical training approaches, identify common challenges and opportunities, and work together on shared disciplines and themes. Through workshops, discussions, and joint activities, the programme aims to strengthen international cooperation, promote innovative and evidence-based nursing education, and support the development of common pedagogical approaches across institutions.

The BIP will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria from the 20th to the 24th of April 2026

Advancing Nursing Education Through Collaboration

An international staff week for nursing educators from INGENIUM partner universities, focused on collaboration in nursing education. Participants will exchange curricula and teaching practices, explore innovative and digital learning approaches, strengthen the link between theory and practice, and develop ideas for joint courses, mobility, and research.

Program Details:

On-Site Activities: A 5-day intensive program hosted at the Faculty of Public Health.

Virtual Component: One online preparatory meeting in April 2026 in line with BIP guidelines.

Eligibility:

The program is open to and staff and administrators responsible for the Nursing education in their own universities (maximum of 20 people) from all INGENIUM partners which are awarding Nursing degrees.
