MU – SOFIA HOSTED A WEBINAR “MY ERASMUS + EXPERIENCE – A STORY TO REMEMBER”

MU-Sofia hosted a webinar with a focus on the EC Program for student and staff mobility, Erasmus +, KA107 – cooperation with partner countries.

The event brought together participants in mobilities from four non-EU countries – Japan, Morocco, Jordan and South Africa, among whom were Prof. Norio Sakai and Assoc. Prof. Karima Al-Razi.

The experts from the International Department of MU-Sofia briefly presented the activities of the university, and the participants had the opportunity to share photos and materials from their visits to the respective partner institutions. Assoc. Prof. Nina Belova and Assoc. Prof. Lyubomir Traikov from the Faculty of Medicine described their memories and impressions from their visit to the University of Hiroshima, Japan, and Prof. Norio Sakai complemented their stories with interesting comments on behalf of the Japanese group in Bulgaria. Assoc. Prof. Dimitrina Jeleva from the Faculty of Pharmacy spoke about the fruitful visit of her colleagues to the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The presentations of lecturers who visited Jordan were presented in absentia.

Assoc. Prof. Karima Al-Razi from the University of Fez, Morocco, shared satisfaction with the successful joint cooperation between the two institutions and expressed hope that it will continue to develop in parallel with the program.

It is widely believed that the Erasmus + program gives young scientists, researchers and students a unique chance for intercultural exchange, то sharе common scientific interests and the opportunity for new acquaintances with colleagues from distant lands.

The benefits of the Erasmus + program, aimed at involving young people in mobilities and diversity, the benefits of sharing good practices and disseminating successful results in academia, were discussed in the panel of discussions.
