Medical University – Sofia and Medical University of Lodz, Poland, have a long-standing excellent partnership within the framework of the Alliance4Life Project under the Horizon Europe Programme. The six-member Polish delegation is visiting its Bulgarian partner at the level of academic and administrative staff in the period 17-19.06.2024 in Sofia.
Prof. Valentina Petkova-Dimitrova, DSc, Vice Rector for Science and Accreditation, officially welcomed the guests to the Rectorate of MU-Sofia and shared with them experience and good practices in the institution regarding the possibilities for collaboration in the direction of developing joint doctoral programs.

The intensive program of the guests continued with an operational meeting with experts from the Department of “International Integration & Project Financing”, with visits to the MU-Sofia campus, a cultural panel and a visit to the Central Medical Library of the MU-Sofia scheduled in the coming days.


On behalf of the Medical University of Lodz, the delegation is represented by Paweł Zawieja, M.A., Deputy Chancellor for Organization and Development, four administrative representatives (Ewelina Łojewska, Karolina Dzięcioł; Tomasz Jasiński and Tomasz Nowak) and one researcher in the person of Anna Lippert, University professor, Department of Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences.
