The overall goal of the program is to accelerate the reintegration and career development in Bulgarian universities and research organizations of promising scientists with internationally recognized scientific results. The program stimulates the development of the research potential in Bulgaria as a necessary fundamental step for the creation of a sustainable scientific and innovative environment and for the development of a competitive high-tech economy in Bulgaria. Bulgarian scientists who wish to attract promising scientists from abroad to their research groups with funding under the program may invite potential candidates to participate in the competition.
The competition is planned to be announced by the beginning of July with a deadline for submitting project proposals in September 2020.
