Medical University – Sofia joined the “World Cleanup Day” initiative, part of the “Let’s Do it World” global movement, which this year took place on September 17. Students, teachers and employees from the administrative staff joined in the cleaning of as many as 11 locations. Seven of the designated locations were green spaces around the university’s student dormitories, with the situation around block 40B in Studentski Grad proving to be the most complex.
As part of the initiative, spaces were cleaned near the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical-Biological Complex and Medical College “Y. Filaretova”. The bad weather on Saturday did not scare students and teachers from the branch of the university in Vratsa, who concentrated their efforts on the playground next to the building of the educational institution.
“Cleanup Day” is another initiative organized by MU-Sofia, part of the green policy of the university. If you haven’t been able to get involved now, look forward to the next events dedicated to the preservation of nature and our desire to live in a better, cleaner and more beautiful world.
