At the ceremony, 177 graduates of the School of Dental Medicine at MU-Sofia received their diplomas. 124 of them are Bulgarian doctors in dental medicine, and 53 – foreign ones.
On the official tribune were present Prof. Radomir Ugrinov, Vice-Rector of the Medical University – Sofia, Prof. Andon Filchev, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Maya Rashkova, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Prof. Bozhidar Yordanov, Vice-Dean and Prof. Hristina Popova, Vice-Dean. The ceremony was led by the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs Prof. Krasimira Yaneva.
After welcoming the graduates by the Dean Prof. Filchev, congratulatory address by the Rector of MU-Sofia, Prof. Victor Zlatkov, was presented by the Vice-Rector Prof. Ugrinov.
“Dear students, I believe that the diplomas you receive today are one of the most valuable investments in your future. Be proud to be a graduate of the Faculty of Dental Medicine and do not stop learning and upgrading your qualifications,” said Mrs. Tsveta Karayancheva, Speaker of the National Assembly in her welcome address.
