The official promotion of the 2019 graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy at MU-Sofia was held in the Congress Hall University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy
This year 190 pharmacists graduated, 52 of them were foreigners studying English. The excellent graduates were 10.
To honor the work done by the graduates and their teachers, the ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Boyko Penkov, Rector of the Medical University – Sofia Prof. Victor Zlatkov, Prof. Dr. Radomir Ugrinov – Vice Rector Vice Rector in charge of post-graduate studies and University-hospital coordination, Prof. Tihomira Zlatanova – Vice Rector in charge of education, Member of Parliament and Member of the Parliamentary Committees on Health and Education and Science at the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria M.PhSc. Borislav Borisov, President of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union Prof. Asena Stoimenova, Chief Secretary of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union M.PhSc. Dimitar Marinov and M.PhSc. Venelin Sapunarov, Chairman of Regional Pharmaceutical College – Sofia of the Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Union.
Official congratulations to the newly graduated pharmacists delivered the Rector of the Medical University – Sofia Prof. Dr. Victor Zlatkov. “I wish you to have a constant pursuit of excellence and enthusiasm in your professional realization. Follow the principles of humanity; respect your colleagues and yourself. Be bold, confident and consistent in your goals”.
The ceremony was followed by one of the most solemn and exciting moments – taking the oath by the graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy at MU-Sofia. The excellent graduates were awarded with honorary plaques.
For the first year, the Student Council at MU-Sofia initiates the awarding of awards to graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy for their achievements in science with publications, posters, presentations and excellent grades. The excellent graduates this year were six.
