In connection with the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 in Italy, a letter from the Ministry of Education and Science, quoting the Ministry of the Interior’s recommendations to Bulgarian citizens, was received at the Ministry of Education and Science. The Ministry advises citizens to travel in the country only in the case of need.
The risk-of-travel index to China has also been raised to the highest level 5, prompting a warning to suspend all journeys and leave the country immediately.
In order to ensure the safety and protection of the life and health of academic staff and students, it is recommended to those who are about to travel, including on mobility programs in the designated and other affected countries, to cancel or postpone them.
