Memorandum of Cooperation between the Medical University - Sofia and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Grigore T. Popa", Iasi, Romania

On October 16, 2020, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Acad. Lachezar Traykov, MD Rector of MU-Sofia and Prof. Dr. Scripcariu, Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania. The agreement provides for the promotion of educational cooperation between the two institutions, academic exchange, research and participation in international programs.

Agreement for cooperation between the State University of Mostar and the Medical University of Sofia

The management of the Medical University – Sofia signed a cooperation agreement with the State University of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of education and research. This Memorandum aims at encouraging students and teachers exchange, as well as initiatives to develop joint programs and research, with a view to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting international cooperation.

The University of Mostar has about 12,000 students and more than 1,000 teachers, making it the third largest university in Bosnia and Herzegovina with ten faculties, 50 different majors, 46 specializations and 70 study groups. This makes it one of the most diverse in the country.

Cooperation agreement between the University of East Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Medical University - Sofia

The new management of the Medical University – Sofia has signed a cooperation agreement with the Medical Faculty of the University of East Sarajevo in the field of education and research. This Memorandum aims at encouraging the exchange of students and teachers, as well as initiatives to develop joint programs and research, with a view to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting international cooperation.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY OF PRISTINA HASAN PRISTINA - REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO AND MEDICAL UNIVERSITY - SOFIA

The management of MU-Sofia and the University of Pristina “Hasan Pristina” signed an agreement for cooperation in the field of education and research. This Memorandum will be the basis for other agreements between the two universities for academic exchange of students and teachers, as well as for joint activities on the implementation of international projects and events.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN GJAKOVA UNIVERSITY FEHMI AGANI - REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO AND THE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY - SOFIA

In December 2019, an Agreement for cooperation in the field of education and science was signed between Gjakova Fehmi Agani University, Kosovo and Medical University – Sofia. This Memorandum of Understanding may strengthen other student and faculty exchange agreements and foster joint work on international projects.

Memorandum of Understanding signed with Bogomolets National Medical University, Kiev, UKRAINE

The International Integration and Project Funding Department informs that in October 2019 a Memorandum of Understanding was officially signed between Medical University – Sofia and Bogomolets National Medical University, which is one of the leading universities in Ukraine. The Faculty of Medicine was founded in 1840, and the first lecture in anatomy was given to students in 1841. Bogomolets National Medical University is one of the oldest and reputed universities in Ukraine. Currently, the university brings together 4 medical faculties, a faculty of dental medicine, pharmacy, a faculty of medical psychology and a faculty for training of doctors for the military. The signed official agreement fosters active cooperation in the field of training and scientific activities of the two institutions. On the other hand, it may build the basis for other exchange programmes for students and staff, as well as for joint cooperation on international projects.

Cooperation Agreement between the Medical University - Sofia and the University of Goce Delchev, Stip, Republic of Northern Macedonia

Signed by the Rectors – Prof. Dr. Victor Zlatkov, MD and Prof. Dr. Blazho Boev on May 23, 2019, for exchanges and participation in scientific and educational activities.

Memorandum of Cooperation between the Belorusian State Medical University and the Medical University of Sofia

Concluded on 12/02/2019 by the Rectors of the two educational institutions – Prof. Dr. Victor Zlatkov, MD and Prof. Sikorskiy, for academic and scientific cooperation.

Cooperation Agreement between the First Moscow State Medical University "IM Sechenov" and Medical University - Sofia

On November 15, 2017 a cooperation agreement was signed between First Moscow State Medical University “IM Sechenov” and Medical University – Sofia, by Prof. Dr. Victor Zlatkov, PhD, MD, Rector of Medical University – Sofia and Prof. Dr. Radomir Ugrinov, PhD, Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies, International Integration and Project Funding, respectively Acad. Petar Glibocko, Rector of Sechenov University and Prof. Andrei Svistunov, First Vice Rector. The purpose of the agreement is to develop cooperation in the field of medical science and education, conduct joint educational events, exchange students, scientists and professors.

Agreement on Academic Cooperation between the University of Genoa, Italy and the Medical University – Sofia

The Agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of research, the exchange of lecturers, researchers, students and staff on the basis of joint work programs.

Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Bern, Switzerland and the Medical University - Sofia

The agreement initiates a mechanism for joint research, exchange of members of academic staff, PhD students, postgraduates. This will provide a basis for the development of scientific studies on both sides, including joint research projects, workshops, exchanges of teaching and pedagogical materials

Cooperation Agreement with St. Petersburg State Medical University

The Medical University – Sofia and the St. Petersburg State Medical University signed a contract for the training of PhD students and researchers on individual programs based on accredited curricula of the two universities.

Contract for cooperation between Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and Medical University - Sofia

On September 29, 2010 the rector of the Medical University – Sofia and Rector of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Prof. Yannis Milopoulos signed a contract for cooperation between the faculties of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy of the two universities.

Contract for cooperation between Medical University - Sofia and the National Pharmaceutical University / Kharkov, Ukraine /

The Rector of the Medical University – Sofia and the Rector of the National University of Pharmacy (Kharkov, Ukraine) have signed an Agreement for co-operation on April 4th 2009. The aims of the agreement are as follows: creation of favorable conditions for the development of the pharmaceutical education and science, development of mutual educational programs, implementation of new pharmaceutical technologies, organizing of science conferences, exchange of students and teachers, etc.

Cooperation Agreement between Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara, Romania and Medical University – Sofia

On December 10, 2010 the Rectors of the Medical University of Sofia and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Victor Babes” Timisoara signed a contract for cooperation in the field of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and public health. The contract promotes the exchange of students and professors as well as initiatives for the development of joint programs and research.

Memorandum of Understanding between Medical University - Sofia and Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy / Poltava, Ukraine /

The Rector of the Medical University – Sofia and the Rector of the Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy (Poltava, Ukraine) have signed a Memorandum of understanding on April 11th, 2009 in the sphere of education and science research between the two institutions. This Memorandum facilitates all mutual activities in the aspect of education, faculty and student exchange, science research and public services.

Agreement for collaboration between University of Belgrade - Serbia and Medical University-Sofia

The Faculty of Dental Medicine concluded a contract for the cooperation and exchange of professors and students with the Department of Dentistry of Belgrade University.
